Commonwealth Safety Management Forum
The Commonwealth Safety Management Forum is a not-for-profit industry group comprising of professionals who work with the Commonwealth, Australian Capital Territory and associated agencies to facilitate strategic advice to member agencies on Work Health & Safety (WHS) matters, Legislative Framework Industry news, Rehabilitation, Premium management, WHS Policies and Procedures and associated training and education.
We take great pride in its growth and recognition amongst Commonwealth agencies.
The CSMF has an active role in working collaboratively with agencies in identifying, planning and implementing the overall improvements in injury prevention and a reduction in the severity of injuries, illness and disease in the workplace. The Commonwealth legislation (WHS Act 2011 and SRC Act 1988) is the legislative framework within which we operate in the Australian and ACT Government Jurisdictions.
Our executive team is comprised of passionate and committed WHS professionals with significant industry knowledge and experience and are well placed to provide support and advice to agencies through the forums.
We host regular meetings with our members, and hold an annual conference each year in Canberra.
